Canada Water Dock Office

Canada Water Dock Office, was completed for our client Rochford Construction Limited, with Wates Group serving as the principal contractor for the main client, British Land. The landscape architects involved were Townshend Landscape Architects.

Kingston Landscape Group were responsible for installing all of the soft landscaping, featuring an impressive blend of 5,200 shrubs, perennials, ferns, and grasses, along with 300 aquatic plants and 2,000 bulbs. The plants were sourced from J. A. JONES & SONS (CHURCHTOWN) LTD, Wyevale Nurseries Ltd, and Crug Farm Plants. Some plant species were particularly rare and took nearly nine months to acquire, keeping our plant buyers extremely busy.

We successfully navigated challenges, including arranging a diverse range of plants in dense formations and ensuring that we did not damage new plantings while installing the automatic irrigation system. Extra care was required around the existing trees within the planting beds. Since the installation took place during the peak of summer, we dedicated numerous man-hours to daily watering to ensure the plants thrived and became established.
