Progress is coming along at Deptford Church Street (DEPCS) for the Thames Tideway project, one of four sites we will be completing. This specific project has a landscaping schedule of 12 weeks. We have been collaborating closely with interfacing trades to create a coordinated program of works, while also working alongside the site team. Our team has done an excellent job managing a variety of materials needed on-site, resulting in multiple deliveries and the effective management of available stock.
In terms of plants and trees, we have recently installed 29 trees with a girth of 30-35cm, supplied by Hillier Nurseries Ltd, all of which were tagged by the client before installation.
Once completed we would have installed over 5,000 plants, all of which have been viewed and tagged prior to installation, supplied by Wyevale Nurseries Ltd. Additionally, various types of soils have been utilised for this project, including over 200 m³ of topsoil, more than 900 m³ of subsoil, and 350 m³ of low fertility soil for use with over 1,700 m² of bespoke wildflower turf.
